Dear Marist Lacrosse Alumni,

I want to thank you for your letter and continued interest in our lacrosse program.  Be assured the College is committed to lacrosse and proud of its success, particularly considering how young our program is in comparison to teams we play.

As I am sure you are aware, Marist recently committed over $10 million for a new stadium which includes an
artificial turf field, spectator seating, press box, and flrst-class
locker rooms for use by the lacrosse team. We believe the stadium provides us with the best facilities in the
MAAC and this was achieved at substantial cost to the College.

In the coming years, we would like to increase scholarship support for lacrosse and would like to have your help in raising the necessary funds for the
program.  I will ask our Development Office and Athletic Department to
contact you to determine how we might work together to further develop lacrosse at Marist.
